A nationally recognized authority on educational equity and social justice, Dr. Pedro Noguera serves as dean of the Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California. He previously held faculty positions at UCLA, NYU, Harvard, and UC Berkeley. A sought after speaker, he consults with educational organizations across the nation; is the author or editor of 13 books; and has received dozens of awards and multiple honorary degrees. Dr. Noguera received his B.A., M.A., and teaching credential from Brown University, and his Ph.D. in sociology from UC Berkeley.
