Congratulations, Class of 2019!

Breakthrough is extremely proud to announce that 100% of the 31 students in our second graduating class will attend college in the fall, including 90% at four-year schools. They’ll join our inaugural class of 20 students, all of whom are wrapping up their first year at colleges across the country.

This result is the culmination of tremendous hard work over the past eight years, day in and day out, on the part of our students, their families, and Breakthrough teachers, volunteers, and staff. The Breakthrough community supports one another and keeps the expectations high, and that’s evident in these results. Thanks also to the many generous supporters who believed in our expansion and helped make it possible.
