Applications are now available to tutor in fall 2024, supporting the success of our hard-working students from across San Francisco.
The after-school tutor commitment is one afternoon per week – Mon, Tue, or Wed, from 4:30 – 6:30 pm (or 4:30 – 5:30 pm for eighth grade tutors). Our fall 2024 program will run from Sept 30 through Nov 20, 2024. Tutors must commit for the entire time period, including a training session the evening of Sept 25 and a mid-semester check-in and take-home assignment. For this opportunity, we welcome applications from adults, college students, high school students, and eighth graders at Breakthrough and SF Day.
The virtual tutoring commitment is one hour per week over Zoom, according to your availability, from Oct – Nov 2024. You’ll be matched with one of our high school students who needs support in a specific subject. For this opportunity, we welcome applications from adults and college students.
Applications are due by Sept 13 (Breakthrough and SF Day 8th graders) or Sept 20 (all other applicants). More information is available here.
