Bianka is a sophomore at Convent of the Sacred Heart High School in San Francisco. She is taking honors classes while playing three sports – soccer, basketball, and volleyball – and participating in clubs like Latinas Unidas. Always a motivated student, she feels Breakthrough pushed her to love learning even more.

At Breakthrough, we have a lot of special opportunities. I got to do fun experiments in my science class. I liked dissecting the cow’s eye and sheep’s brain.

Breakthrough is fun and really interesting. We don’t just do work, we also go on trips, and they reward us for things. My favorite part is tutoring – because we do our homework and talk to our teachers at the same time.
