Donate securely using any major credit card. There are no fees on either end, thanks to generous in-kind support from Google.

 

  • $20 supplies a day's worth of healthy snacks
  • $50 purchases supplies for an after-school enrichment class
  • $112 funds a week of instructional support for a teaching intern
  • $500 sends a bus full of students to visit the Stanford campus
  • $1,250 underwrites a stipend for one summer teaching intern
  • $5,000 provides one student an entire year of programming

Other Ways to Give

To make a credit card gift offline or to pay by check, please download a contribution form. To contribute through a Donor Advised Fund, please select "San Francisco Day School" as the gift recipient, and designate the gift for "Breakthrough."
 

Donate Services

  • Provide a summer homestay for one of our carefully selected college-aged teachers
  • Host a small group of students at your workplace during our July Career Day
  • Provide lunch or dinner as a gesture of appreciation for 
    our faculty
  • Provide printing services
  • Tutor in our after-school program
  • Help us chaperone a Saturday excursion to a Bay Area museum, college, or scenic destination
 

Donate Supplies

  • School supplies (i.e., looseleaf paper, folders, binders, pens, pencils, backpacks)
  • Computers, printers, and flash drives for our students to use in completing assignments at home
  • Art supplies (construction paper, markers, crayons, glue sticks, butcher paper, posterboard)
  • Musical instruments
  • Movie, event, and museum tickets
  • Grocery store gift cards (to purchase food for evening and Saturday events)
  • Small gifts for our student prize box (puzzles, games, books, etc)
  • Summer Muni passes for our college-aged teachers
 

Students at Breakthrough have an eagerness to learn, which inspires me. Breakthrough is able to push them to do their best work. I have worked with a student for two years, and her skills have grown immensely. Not only do I have the opportunity to teach this student, but I also can get to know her on a more personal level.
